Moto G5 Plus Witnesses Record Sales on Flipkart: 50 Units Sold Per Minute
E-commerce major Flipkart today announced that the recently launched
Moto G5 Plus smartphone by Lenovo witnessed record sales on the first
day of launch. “Following the midnight launch on March 15, Flipkart sold
The Moto G5 Plus at a rate of over 50 units per minute,” the company
said in a statement.
The Moto G5 Plus was officially launched in India at Rs 14,999 on March 15. The Moto G5 Plus 3GB RAM + 16GB internal storage variant costs Rs 14,999 while the 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999. The device is exclusively available on Flipkart.
The company has announced Moto G5 Plus launch offers that include an additional Rs 1,500 discount on exchange and there is an additional 10 per cent discount on SBI cards; no-cost EMIs starting at Rs 1,889 a month, and the Moto Pulse 2 headset at a discounted price of Rs 599.
“The Moto G5 Plus 3GB/16GB variant went out of stock within the first few minutes of the sale opening. Flipkart’s product exchange program also drew customers, with over 4000 older Motorola phones being exchanged for a new G5 Plus. The launch of The Moto G5 Plus also marked the start of another consumer-friendly affordability initiative on Flipkart - BuyBack Guarantee,”
As part of the BuyBack Guarantee program, customers were offered a BuyBack price of Rs 7000 on The Moto G5 Plus if it is exchanged within 6 months of purchase. This BuyBack Guarantee is applicable till March 31 and can be availed along with exchange offer of up to Rs 13,500 off on Flipkart.
